Get everyone on board with your big picture, faster
Whether you're leading a major transformation, navigating a strategic shift or defining a new future, Mapt combines human expertise with AI assistance to help you shape a clear, compelling and shared narrative.
Together, we align your team, enhance clarity and drive meaningful action.

Change is hard when ideas are scattered and teams are out of sync. Without clarity a change narrative can be incomplete, open to mixed interpretation, frustrating stakeholders and delaying outcomes.
Mapt combines expert facilitation with AI assistance to bring clarity and focus, so your team can move forward with confidence.

In a room full of team knowledge, there will always be different perspectives on what matters, and what the change ahead might look like.
All perspectives are important, so how do we help you bring them together, to build consensus and create the information you can easily share?
First, you map your narrative…
Mapt helps break change narrative into its discrete, workable components.
We call them waypoints. They enable you to easily find common ground and capture resolved team content.
As you explore and agree each of the waypoints, you record the information in a narrative map.
This gives you a clear, logical structure that can be taken forward into a visual frame.
…then you're able to frame it.
With the narrative map in place, you then select the functional visual frame that supports your specific type of change.
The visual frame becomes the central focus for the conversations ahead, and can continue to evolve.
You have a single, clear point of focus as the change begins to take shape, which can evolve to support future conversations.
The Mapt system often does its best work in a confidential setting, where it helps connect and explain specific, complex messages to targeted audiences and goals.
So it stands to reason that, while we might carefully share selected examples with you in person, our clients wouldn’t expect us to reveal their projects in detail online, and we respect that.
The case studies below are examples of where the approaches that are now captured and deployed in the Mapt Way were successfully developed.
Painting a future that resonates
A significant global software multinational needed to describe their New Zealand long term vision and strategy to grow the national digital technology sector, one that could be shared across their teams, as well as with their own and New Zealand government leadership.
The big picture story was the result of collaboration from across its NZ operation, describing context, the future vision, challenges and execution.
The vision narrative was pivotal in moving the national strategy forward, resonating with New Zealand clients as well as being put forward as a global reporting standard by the client’s international leadership.
Making strategy stick
A major public sector agency needed government understanding on new collaborative ways of working and sharing information essential to its long term strategic outcomes and challenges.
The visual narrative succinctly described drivers, approach, outcomes and specific actions around selected personal experiences, becoming the successful heart of the agency’s IT strategy description for the next year.
Mapt's professional development programme will equip you with the skills you need to create a visual narrative to support your strategic change initiatives.
But it's possible you may need more than that: You may have more complex objectives, you may not have sufficient time available, or you might have a specific project in mind that requires a different approach.
